Our partner clinics do their highest-volume work in implants and zirconium crowns, so that is where we concentrate. Everything else on this page we arrange, but we will tell you if travelling for it does not make sense.
A titanium post replaces the root of a missing tooth, and a crown is fitted on top. For one gap or several. Usually two trips, three to six months apart, because the post needs time to fuse with the bone.
A strong type of ceramic crowned on tooth with no metal core, so it handles light more like a natural tooth and does not leave a grey line at the gum. Strong enough for back teeth. Usually one trip of three to seven days.
Dental implants
A complete implant is often shown as one line in a quote. Select each part to understand what it does and what should be named in your plan.
A titanium screw placed into the jawbone where the root of the missing tooth used to be. It is then left alone to fuse with the bone, which is the reason implants usually need two trips rather than one.
Ask which brand is being used, and get it in writing. This is the part a cheaper quote is most likely to have changed.
A small titanium piece, properly called an abutment, that joins the post to the crown at the gum line. It is fitted on the second visit, once the post has fused.
Usually included in an implant price. Worth checking that it is, rather than assuming.
The part you actually see. Usually zirconium, shaped and shaded against the teeth either side of it so it does not announce itself.
Confirm the crown material is named on your plan. "Implant including crown" can mean more than one thing.

Thin ceramic facings bonded to the front of your own teeth, where the concern is appearance rather than function. “Hollywood Smile” is a marketing term for a full set of veneers or crowns across the visible teeth, not a procedure.
A tooth-coloured composite material is applied and shaped directly on the tooth. It may be considered for changes such as small chips, gaps or tooth shape, subject to an assessment by the treating dentist.
In-clinic whitening using a peroxide gel activated under light. It lightens natural enamel only. Crowns, veneers and fillings do not change colour, which is why whitening is usually done before, not after, other work.
All-on-4 or All-on-6: a fixed full arch of teeth supported by four or six implants, for people missing most or all of their teeth in a jaw. A larger undertaking than single implants, with a longer recovery.

Staff costs, premises and dental lab work are substantially cheaper in Turkey than in the UK. Clinics treating international patients also run at higher volume, which lowers cost per case.
Fewer implants placed than the case needs. A cheaper implant brand substituted without telling you. Crowns fitted over teeth that could have been saved. Skipped diagnostics. If a quote is far below every other quote, ask which of these explains it.
Which implant brand and which crown material, in writing. How many appointments. What the guarantee covers, for how long, and who pays for a return flight if remedial work is needed.
