How it works

Nine steps, and where you can stop

You can stop at any point up to step four without owing anything. Nothing is booked and nothing is paid until you have seen a written plan with a price on it and had the chance to ask about it.

The plan comes first, then the travel Two objects on a bench. Behind, a written treatment plan. In front of it and overlapping, a boarding pass with a torn stub, showing that travel is arranged around the plan rather than before it.
  1. Send a short enquiry

Use the website form to tell us what is bothering you. It reaches DentHopeBridge's business systems and alerts a coordinator to reply. Where useful, the coordinator then asks you to send tooth photographs or a recent X-ray through WhatsApp before a dentist reviews the case.

    A few minutes · free
  2. A dentist reviews your case

A dentist at a partner clinic looks at what you have sent and writes a treatment plan: what they would do, in what order, over how many appointments. If they need a better X-ray before committing, we will tell you rather than guess.

As soon as the dentist has assessed your case · free
  3. You get the plan and an indicative price

Itemised, so you can see what each part costs, and clearly marked indicative. It can change if the clinical picture changes once you are examined in person, and if it does, you are told before any work starts, not after.

    Free · no obligation
  4. A call to ask everything

With your coordinator, and with the dentist if you want. This is where we go through the risks, what happens if something does not heal as expected, and who pays for what in that situation. Bring a list. People who ask more questions have better trips.

    30–45 minutes · free
  5. Travel is booked around your appointments

Appointments are fixed first, then flights and accommodation are arranged around them, with a buffer day after treatment before you fly. We will tell you what is included in the package and what you are paying for separately.

    Deposit payable at this point
  6. Arrival and transfer

You are met at the airport and taken to your accommodation. Your coordinator has your itinerary and uses the contact route stated in your written plan throughout your stay.

    Day 1
  7. Examination, then treatment

A full examination and new imaging on the first clinical day. If what the dentist finds differs from the plan, the plan is revised and re-quoted before treatment begins. You can decline the revision. Treatment itself typically runs across several appointments with rest days between.

    Typically days 2–6
  8. Recovery, final fit, and flying home

A buffer day after the last appointment before you fly, so anything that needs adjusting can be adjusted while you are still in the country. You go home with written aftercare instructions and a record of exactly what was done, including implant brand and crown material.

    Day 7 or 8
  9. Aftercare, and the second trip if you need one

A follow-up at one week and one month. For implants, a second trip three to six months later to fit the permanent crowns once the posts have fused. Anything that needs attention in between, you contact your coordinator, not a general inbox.

The part nobody explains

What happens if something goes wrong

Two separate questions, and they have different answers: who fixes it, and who pays.

While you are still there

The clinic handles it, at no additional cost. This is the main reason for the buffer day before your flight, and the reason we do not book treatment right up to departure.

Soon after you are home

Minor adjustments can usually be done by a UK dentist more quickly than flying back. Anything covered by the clinic guarantee is handled under those terms. You contact your coordinator first, who deals with the clinic.

Months or years later

This is where the written guarantee matters: what it covers, for how long, and whether return travel is included. Get this in writing before you travel, from us and from the clinic.

Practicalities

Things people ask before they commit

How long do I need off work?

For crowns or veneers, most people take the week of the trip. For implant placement, allow the trip plus two or three quieter days at home; swelling and discomfort are usual for several days afterwards. Full mouth reconstruction needs longer and should be planned with more recovery time than you think you need.

Can I fly straight after treatment?

We build in a buffer day, and for surgical work the clinic may advise longer. Cabin pressure can aggravate a fresh extraction or sinus procedure. This is a clinical decision made by the treating dentist, not a scheduling preference.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes, and standard travel policies usually exclude anything related to planned medical treatment. You need a policy that specifically covers medical tourism, and you should read what it excludes. We will tell you this again before you book.

Can someone come with me?

Yes, and for surgical treatment we would encourage it. Accommodation is usually arranged as a twin or double at no extra cost. Tell us at the planning stage so transfers and rooms are booked correctly.

What if I decide not to go ahead?

Up to the point of paying a deposit, nothing is owed and nothing is booked. After that, cancellation terms apply and are set out in writing before you pay.
