How and when you pay
Payment
A deposit secures your appointments and travel. The balance is paid at the clinic
before treatment is completed. You will have the full payment schedule in writing before
you pay anything, including what happens to the deposit if you cancel.
You pay nothing for the consultation, the treatment plan, or the quote.
If we cannot help, or if a partner clinic dentist thinks travelling is not right for your
case, you will have cost nothing but the time it took to send photos.
Why a quote can change
An indicative price is based on photographs and, where available, an X-ray you already
had. It is a well-informed estimate, not a diagnosis. A quote can change when an
examination finds something the images did not show: a tooth that cannot be saved,
insufficient bone height, or gum disease that has to be treated first.
When that happens, the plan is revised and re-quoted before treatment
begins, and you can decline it. What should never happen is discovering a change
on the invoice. If any provider does that to you, that is the thing to judge them on.
On comparing us with a UK quote
Compare the total, not the treatment line. Add flights, insurance and time off work to
our figure, and add any staged payments or finance interest to the UK figure. For a single
crown, the difference often does not justify the trip. For several implants, it usually
does. We will tell you which side of that line your case falls on, including when the
answer is that you should stay in Britain.
